Andrew Hinchey joins the show! Andrew is the owner and Head Coach of Soul Beach Volleyball. As an athlete Andrew was a member of Team Canada, earning two silver medals on the NORCECA tour. Andrew also had a lot of success on the NVL and OVA Beach Tours. Before going beach full time Hinchey played at the University of Western Mustangs where he set for the squad for five seasons.
As a coach Andrew has worked with Durham College where he was OCAA’s coach of the year in 2010. We discuss Andrew's grit, playing style, what he really enjoys about coaching and so much more!

USA National Team Libero Justine Wong-Orantes joins the show! Justine started playing club volleyball at age 6, is the youngest known player to ever earn a AAA CBVA rating, represented the USA at the Youth World Championships twice, won a National Championship, NCAA Championship All-Tournament Team, Two-time AVCA All-America First Team, and Female Athlete of the Year at Nebraska. With the National Team Justine has won the Best Digger at 2019 NORCECA Women's Continental Championship, named Best Libero at 2019 Pan American Cup and has won the Pan American Cup and FIVB Volleyball Nations League (Gold)

Janelle Albert has accomplished so much in her young career. She is a provincial champion in the OVA, OCAA, and OUA. She is a National Champion in club, USports and an CCAA Bronze Medalist. She was also named to the OUA All Rookie Team, OCAA Player of the Year, OCAA First Team All Star, CCAA Player of the Year, and an OVA All Star. Janelle has also competed in the One Volleyball League for the Q2 Panthers.

World Champion and Canadian Olympian Sarah Pavan joins the show!! Sarah and partner Melissa Humana-Paredes won the 2019 World Championships. Also on the beach Sarah has earned a 5th at the 2016 Olympic Games, 3x FIVB World Tour Best Blocker, Commonwealth Games Champion, and 17-time World Tour medals
Sarah Pavan attended the University of Nebraska where she was named a 4-time First-Team All-American, National Player of the Year and Honda Broderick Cup as the top female student-athlete in the country in 2007. Sarah and the Cornhuskers won the 2006 NCAA National Championship.
Pavan played professionally in Italy, Brazil, China, and South Korea. During her indoor career she won 2 Brazilian Superliga Championships and the European Volleyball League’s top attacker.

9Man Superstar Justin Lam joins the show! Justin played indoor volleyball in high school with friend of the show Nate Ngo (episode 41)before playing at the University of California, Santa Cruz. On the 9man circuit Justin was a member of West Coast with volleyball superstars Kevin Wong and Mike Lambert. Justin would later help start SF Paai Kau Smash. Overall Justin has won six (6) North American Chinese Invitational Volleyball Tournament (N.A.C.I.V.T.) Majors, including a 3-peat with Smash!

Grant O'Gorman has already accomplished so much in his young career. At only 26 Grant has represented Canada over 90 times internationally, earning 13 podium finishes including winning the Sydney 2 Star, Silver at the Edmonton 3 Star, and two (2) Youth World Championships Medals. Before joining the Canadian National Team Grant won several Provincial and National Championships on the beach and as an indoor player with the Crush Volleyball Club. Paul Podstawka joins the show! Paul is a former member of Team Canada's Beach National Team. Paul has won Nationals, Provincials, Center of Gravity Champion, and has represented Canada several times on the FIVB World Tour and at Youth World Championships. Paul played indoor at York University where he is an OUA Champion, Second Team All Star and All Rookie Team award winner. Paul transferred to McMaster later in his career where he helped the team earn a Final 4 Finish. After his playing days Paul got into coaching, working with indoor clubs Scorpions Volleyball Club and Guelph Gryphons Volleyball Club. On the beach Paul works with the Legacy Beach Volleyball Club & private youth teams

One of the best personalities in our sport, Steve Delaney joins the show! Steve grew up playing for West Side Volleyball Club before joining the Toronto Ruffriders at a young age. Steve would leave Ontario to attend the University of Winnipeg before playing pro in Finland and France. After playing pro indoors Steve would play pro beach on the FIVB, AVP, and Labatt Tours. Steve started his coaching career with the Halton Hurricanes where he helped the team win a Provincial and National Championship. He is now the current Head Coach of the Brock University Women's Volleyball Team. The Badgers won an OUA Silver Medal and earned a birth to Nationals before Covid cancelled the season.

Canadian Legend Steve Brinkman joined the show to share his experience in our sport. Steve played 17 years for Team Canada, playing in over 300 international matches. Some highlights include a bronze medal at the Pan Am Games, finishing 7th at World Cup, and 11th at World Championships. Before joining the National Team, Steve played at the University of Manitoba where he won a CIS National Championship. Professionally Steve has played in Belgium, China, France, Greece, Italy, Japan and Russia, winning the Chinese, Greek, Italian, World Club Championship and European Cup championship. Steve remains in our sport as an assistant coach with the McMaster Marauders.

Dr. Andrew Sulatycki had an early start in our sport. Andrew's parents Frank & Rozika Sulatycki are Hall of Famers in the OVA, OCAA and CCAA. Andrew was a member of Team Ontario, he was a 5 year starter at York University, winning 2x OUA Championships, he played professionally in Slovenia’s premiere division, won the 2012 Canadian National Men’s Open Championship and 2014 OVL Provincial Championship with the Toronto Ruffriders, and is currently a member of the Canadian Masters Volleyball team. Hear all about his experience and how an injury inspired Andrew to pursue his career as a Chiropractor.
