The Sarah-Jeanne Meunier-Bédard Show EP.88

Sarah-Jeanne has already represented Canada eight times before her 24th birthday! SJ made her debut for Canada with partner Helene Racourt where they finished 4th at a Jamaica Norceca. The pair continued their impressive start finishing 9th at the Cambodia FIVB event. Sarah-Jeanne has also earned podium success at the Grand Prix Beach Quebec and Quebec Provincials. SJ played indoor at the University of Sherbrooke where she earned USports All Rookie Team Honours.

The Lea Monkhouse Show EP.87

Lea has already earned an impressive resume and she a Junior! Lea won a silver at Canada Games, represented Canada the U21 World Championships finishing 9th, competed at the Edmonton 3Star, set the University of Hawaii freshman record for wins, and won a NCAA Championship with UCLA! Before the World hit pause Lea won Volleyball Canada's trails to compete at FISU Games, we hope to see her representing Canada soon.

The Robbie and Steven Abrams Show EP.86

The Abrams brothers joined the show to talk about their careers and some amazing back yard battles. Robbie played at the University of Guelph, has been on the podium in both the Provincials and Nationals on the Beach and represented Canada at U21 Worlds. Steven currently plays at the University of Windsor where he was named to the OUA All Rookie team, he also represented Canada on the Beach at U21 and has some hardware from the OVA, Volleyball Canada and Canada Cup. 
The brothers combined with friend of the show Jake MacNeil and other amazing guys have had a lot of great times in our sport and didn't skip any details in this episode (except for trying to keep it PG). Learn about Robbie and Jake coaching Steven's club team and the legends of the best backyard game ever played.

The Martin Trans Show EP.84

Denmark Star Martin Trans joined us to talk about the beach volleyball system in Denmark, his career, their training group and some mental tips that have helped him improve so quickly. Martin represented Denmark six times at youth CEV events before going on the FIVB World Tour. He's finished in the Top 5 an impressive 9 times out of 14 events. Including winning the 2019 Continental Cup in Umag and a Silver Medal at the Tel Aviv 1 Star. Fun fact Martin's last 4 events have been with different partners from the Beach Volley Team Denmark. In each of those events he finished in the Top5. Team Members include, Martin Trans, Kristoffer Abell, Mads Rosager, Jacob Brinck, Daniel Thomsen, and Morten Overgaard.

The Chhase McFarlan Show EP.83

Chhase took time from his studies to take us on a journey through his volleyball career. We learned all about his club career, Baden Cup as a player and Coach, Camosun College Chargers and the great Charles Parkinson. (shout out to Dave Dooley for leading the Chargers to an CCAA Championship this season!) We also learned about Chhase's transfer to the University of New Brunswick and playing for the Reds where he was named AUS Libero of the Year. Chhase is a character around the beach community so we had to talk about his start, the KBVA, Vancouver Open and his appearance at Beach Blast's Play with the Pros. We cover his future career as a chiropractor and a great story to close with how he started dating Alyssa Wolf.
