Australian Star Tim Dickson joins the show to tell us about his career, winning the 2019 Pacific Games, representing Australia in both Indoor and Beach Volleyball internationally, and earning four (4) - Top 5 finishes on the World Tour in only 14 events. Tim has battled through a lot of injuries and found a lot of great opportunities by staying focused and working through it. Special thanks to friend of the show Canadian Beach Star Sergey Grabovskyy for introducing us to Tim!

Sarah Melenka from Team Canada's Women's Sitting Volleyball Team joins the show to talk about qualifying for Tokyo, Parapan American Games in Peru and her career with Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT)’s varsity team.
Sarah was diagnosed with compartment syndrome at age 15. After several surgeries she returned to play competing in track and field and volleyball in high school before becoming a varsity athlete in the CCAA. Sarah is a big part of our National Team earning a bronze medal at Parapan Games and qualifying for Tokyo when they won their qualifier on home soil in Halifax!

Kofi joined the show shortly after he broke the news that he will be focusing on music full time and not continuing with volleyball (for now we hope). Gyimah played for the Scarborough Titans, Team Ontario, Youth National Team before committing to UCLA. While dominating at UCLA Kofi represented Canada on our Junior National Team and this past summer played for our Senior National Team at VNL. Kofi recently signed with Red Bull Records, we can't wait for his first album! Hopefully in the new future he can pull off a "Mika Zibanejad" and be a professional athlete (beach or indoor) while also being a professional artist.

Superstar Samantha Bricio joined the show to talk about her amazing career! Samantha joined Mexico's Senior National Team at the age of 15. Bricio competed in the NCAA for USC where she won several awards including Pac-12 Freshman of the Year, Volleyball Magazine's NCAA Freshman of the Year, AVCA National Player of the Year, Volleyball Magazine's Player of the Year, espnW National Volleyball Player of the Year, PrepVolleyball.com National Player of the Year, and HERO Sport's National Volleyball Player of the Year.As a professional Samantha has been named an Italian League All-Star, the Italian SuperCup Most Valuable Player and has won the Italian SuperCup, Italian Cup, CEV Champions League Runner-Up, and the Italian League Championship.

York Lions Star Sarah Williams joined the show to talk about her journey through club, high school, recruiting and her career at York. Sarah is a 2x Ofsaa Champion, 18U OVA Provincial Champion with Leaside, 16U OVA Provincial Champion with Halton, OUA First Team All-Star, OUA Second-Team All-Star, and a member of the OUA All Rookie Team. It wasn't all sunshine and rainbows during Sarah's career. National Team Libero Dre Foreman joined us to talk about his career in volleyball, share some great stories (The Blair Bann one is easily Top 5 in show history!), and talk about what his future plans are. Andre is currently with the National Excellence Program (NEP) in Gatineau, Quebec. Last summer Dre was on our National B Team that competed at the Pan American Cup. Foreman has won dozens of medals during his career including a Bronze at CCAA Nationals with the Fanshawe Falcons, 2 National Titles and a Provincial Championship with London Fire. Dre's LVC club team won a medal at Nationals every year from 15U-18U!

U SPORTS Champion, Championship MVP, and USports Rookie of the year Amanda Moppett-Beatch joins the show! Amanda grew up in Calgary and went on to have a great career with the Calgary Dinos. After university Amanda played for our National Team and played pro in France before going full time on the beach. Amanda currently plays in the NBVL and last year won the Canadian Championship for the One Volleyball League with the Cold Garden Tropikills. We talk about all of this and so much more! This week we were joined by Jarron Mueller! Jarron played at Mount Royal in the CCAA before transferring to the Alberta Golden Bear where he was a National Champion and Team Captain. Jarron also played professionally and for our National Team where he won a silver medal at the 2011 Pan am Cup and competed in 2011 Junior World Championships. Most recently Jarron played in the NBVL Calgary League and is the Calgary Commissioner of the Calgary division of the Canadian Volleyball League (formally One Volleyball)

The Jayme & Markus joined us to talk about growing up on the North Shore of Vancouver and how Jayme influenced Marcus into the player he is today! Fans will recognize Jayme from playing at Simon Fraser University on the indoor side before transferring to the University of Alabama at Birmingham to play NCAA Beach.

Aja Gyimah is a Western University Mustang Alumni where she won an OUA medal every season,2x OUA All-Star, Quest for Gold recipient and 2x Academic All-Canadian and is the owner of Compete Nutrition, an evidence-based nutrition consulting practice.
