Julia Murmann & Kat Georgiadis are teammates on the Leaside Volleyball Club 18U Team, Youth National Team and this summer will represent Canada again with the Junior National Team!
Julia Murmann is a defending 18U National Champion with Leaside and was last season's Nationals MVP. Julia will attend the University of Toronto next season.
Kat represented Canada for the second season last summer. She was the starting libero on one of Canada's most successful youth teams finishing 2nd at the 2018 Girls NORCECA Continental Championship. Kat will attend Santa Clara next year.

This is a big one!!! World Champion Melissa Humana-Paredes joins the show to walk us through her journey from being around high level beach volleyball her whole life to becoming one of the best players in the world. Melissa grew up watching her father coach Canadian Legends Mark Heese and John Child, while training at the Elite Beach Club where dozens of top Canadians were introduced to beach volleyball.
Melissa and Sarah were named the 2019 FIVB Team of the Year 2019. Melissa has also been named the FIVB Best Defensive Player (2019), FIVB Best Setter (2018 & 2019), AVP Best Defensive Player (2019), AVP Newcomer of the Year (2019), FIVB Most Improved Player (2017), FIVB Top Rookie (2014), National Champion, Provincial Champion and so much more.

Superstar Alexandra Poletto took time from her busy schedule to join the show when she was back home in Toronto. Alex is currently representing Canada on the beach while training with p1440 in California. Alex attended USC where she played NCAA Beach. Before USC she attended Colorardo State as a star middle with the indoor team. As a youth athlete she was a Provincial Champion and National All Star with Leaside Volleyball Club. This is a big one! Volleyball Legend Scott Koskie joined us to talk about his 13 year career with the National Team, being named captain for 6 of those seasons, his 10 year professional career in Spain, Austria, France, and Qatar, his career at the University of Manitoba where he won 2 National Championships, was a 3 time All-Canadian, National Player of the Year, and a University of Manitoba Athlete of the Year
Since retiring Scott has been inducted into the Manitoba Volleyball Hall of Fame, assistant coach with the University of Manitoba Bisons, assistant coach with the Women’s National Team from 2010-2015 and Head Coach for Junior Women’s National Team. Scott is currently the Provincial High Performance Coach for Volleyball Manitoba.
In 1995 Scott lead what may be the best CIS/USports team of all time! We get into the details of what it would take to earn that crown and who else is in the running.

Defending National Champion Simon Fecteau-Boutin finally joins the show! We have been asking Simon since the show started and are over the moon we finally got him! Simon lead us through his journey from growing up in Quebec, attending Limoilou and Laval, moving to Toronto to commit to beach full time, early travel stories and what he's looking forward to this season.
Simon is a 2x National Champion, represented Canada over 30 times internationally, medalled on the Norceca Tour, and competed in the Toronto Pro Beach League for Galaxy Volleyball Club.

Beach National Team member Alex Russell joined us to discuss why he gave up his indoor pro career to join the Beach National Team. Alex shares stories about growing up with his siblings, Dalhousie Alumni mother and Olympian father. Alex climbed the ladder from club volleyball in BC, the Provincial team, University of British Columbia, the Canadian Junior National Team twice, and a professional career in the Czech. During all of this Alex would play beach at Kits Beach with the KBVA and Vancouver Open.
